I am an assistant professor at the Columbia School of Social Work where I am also a faculty affiliate at the Center on Poverty and Social Policy and the Columbia Population Research Center. This Fall, I am teaching Microeconomics and Policy Analysis for online master's students in social work. Prior to my faculty appointment, I was a postdoctoral research scientist jointly affiliated with both Columbia University and the Carsey School of Public Policy at the University of New Hampshire.

My primary fields of interest are labor economics and public economics, and my work focuses on poverty, program participation, and behavioral responses to social policy.
